This is a brick warehouse situated along the Nakasendo Route.
It was built in 1896 as a warehouse for storing cocoons and raw silk as collateral. Because cocoons were stored here, the building is equipped with steel doors and screened windows placed symmetrically on the right and left sides to provide good ventilation.
